Quick Catalogue Search

Your library may have activated a "quick" Catalogue Search field that displays in the Header area of each page in WebOPAC. This search acts like a normal Anyword Search and enables simple searches to take place from anywhere in WebOPAC (where the Header is normally displayed). If the search field is turned ON, it has a label of "Search For" and a "Catalogue" button. The search term entry field is used for both the “Catalogue” and "Bookmark" search functions. If both the quick search field and the Bookmark search function are activated, the "Search for" entry field is followed by the "Catalogue" and "Bookmark" buttons. After entry of the search term, you then click on the relevant button depending on whether they want to search the Catalogue or the Bookmark Tags.
